Who are Withybush Coachworks Ltd ?
Founded in 1963 by Geoff Bonner, the business has grown from it's origins in a converted squash court into a state-of-the-art repair centre. In 1974 Geoff was joined by his son-in-law Steve Haworth and in 1978 Geoff retired to be replaced by Steve's brother David Haworth. Dave and Steve ran the business very successfully until 1988 when the business was split between the welding side and the bodywork side of the business.
Dave was then joined by his son Adrian on the bodywork side of the business and this carried on successfully until 1997. Being forced to move due to a compulsory purchase order and the retirement of David Haworth, Withybush Coachworks moved into it's present home in the early months of 1999. On moving into the new premises, Adrian was joined by Steve Warlow and with new spraying facilities these two continued for three further years until increased pressure of work required the further recruitment of Martyn Rudd and Ken Campion as specialist panel beaters and sprayers respectively.
In the last two years the business has become a limited company and has added three apprentices, Paul Scourfield, Josh Horrell and Leigh Nixon as well as two more Dalby spray booths and innumerable progressions in terms of equipment and facilities.
